As a Principal at DHJJ, Ryan Stewart brings over a decade of experience in public accounting to his role, with a focus on tax planning, consulting, compliance, and M&A transaction advisory. He primarily works with clients in the manufacturing and distribution and professional services industries, including both privately held and private equity-owned companies. For Ryan, the most rewarding part of his work is the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights that lead to better decisions and long-term success.
Ryan has a thoughtful and client-focused approach, building lasting relationships and ensuring clients feel supported beyond the day-to-day deliverables. He’s committed to clear, effective communication and continually seeks to grow his ability to explain technical topics in ways that are tailored and practical for business owners and stakeholders. Ryan’s collaborative style and attention to detail reflect DHJJ’s commitment to partnership and proactive guidance.
He holds a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University, and an associate’s degree from Joliet Junior College. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2014.
