About
As a Principal at DHJJ with more than 18 years of experience in public accounting, Nicholas Brooks serves many businesses in a variety of industries including those in marketing, interior design, consulting, staffing, printing, packaging, and manufacturing and distribution.
Nick enjoys working with closely held business owners on all facets of their business. Whether it is helping develop month-end close procedures for more consistent financial reporting or implementing tax planning strategies at the business and individual level to minimize tax liabilities, the goal is always to provide value to the client.
He can help you create budgets and forecasts that you can compare to current operations to better understand and monitor the performance of your business. He can also improve tax reporting in areas such as sales tax, payroll tax, and multi-state taxation that can create significant problems if not properly reported.
The first in his family to go to college, Nick has a dual degree, a Bachelor of Business Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Information Management from Western Illinois University. He is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and the IL CPA Society.
