Michelle works closely with businesses across multiple industry sectors in her role as Principal at DHJJ. She has a particular depth of experience serving construction, legal, and medical clients, with over 25 years of overall accounting experience.
Offering accounting services, Michelle is well-versed in the strategies that increase accounting visibility while reducing tax liabilities. She helps clients navigate their responsibilities for payroll taxes in addition to general business tax. Michelle also provides software consulting as a certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor to help businesses establish and maintain effective reporting systems and offers assistance for monthly, quarterly, and ongoing data management.
Michelle had been actively involved in Naperville Chamber’s Young Professionals Network, the Naperville Jaycees, and the Naperville Chamber’s Women in Business. She was recognized as Rookie of the Month
and Jaycee of the Month throughout her involvement.
Originally from Winfield, Illinois, Michelle took an accounting class her senior year in high school, loved it, and never looked back. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at North Central College.
Outside of Work:
Michelle lives in St. Charles with her husband, Brian, and young son, Travis, and dog, Sammy.
The Harrington’s are die-hard outdoor grillers — even frequently during winter.
Michelle began playing volleyball and softball very young and leads the DHJJ Intramural Volleyball and Softball teams.
