About
Meg Figg is a Principal at DHJJ and leads the firm’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice group. With over 16 years of experience in public accounting, Meg specializes in corporate tax planning and compliance, with a deep focus on multi-state tax strategy and SALT advisory services. She serves a wide range of industries including service businesses, manufacturers, and professional services firms, helping clients stay compliant while strategically positioning them for growth. Her forward-thinking, advisory approach brings clarity and confidence to an often-complex area of tax.
Meg’s interest in accounting began unexpectedly in high school, when she took an accounting class to meet a technology credit, and found she had a natural aptitude for it. That spark evolved into a career marked by technical depth and a passion for helping businesses thrive. Since 2013, she has been a valued member of the DHJJ team, where she continues to grow the firm’s SALT capabilities and mentor others in the firm.
Meg earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Elmhurst University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2017. She is committed to ongoing continued professional education, for both her own development and for providing her clients with accurate, compliant financial guidance.
