As a Manager at DHJJ, Jake plays a key role in leading and managing audit engagements for a diverse client base. He began his professional career as a tax intern at DHJJ, before moving to the Assurance department in 2020.
Jake’s career journey has equipped him with a robust understanding of auditing methodologies, risk assessment, and internal controls evaluation. His dedication to help clients achieve their financial objectives goes beyond mere compliance, focusing on opportunities for operational improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
Jake received both his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Accounting from Aurora University, where he also played hockey. Jake is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the AICPA.
Outside of Work:
In his free time, Jake enjoys golf, floor hockey, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his nieces.
Jake has given up the ice and now dominates the sand, as a member of DHJJ’s volleyball team.
Jake’s ideal vacation place is anywhere with a beach.
