Ed Brooks is the Principal-In-Charge at DHJJ’s St. Charles office. With over 32 years of experience, he brings a lifelong passion for understanding what drives success in business to his role in helping entrepreneurial clients and company leaders. Ed serves closely-held businesses, maintaining a focus on
assisting those in the manufacturing, distribution, and industrial sectors.
Ed’s solutions to business challenges rely on his big-picture approach based on analysis of key factors of success, coupled with accumulated business acumen. He utilizes this deep understanding to function as his clients’ quarterback, taking care of routine tax and compliance responsibilities while managing the
initiatives that help their businesses grow.
Originally from the Wrigleyville area, Ed grew up in Northlake, Illinois, and now calls St. Charles home. He earned a Bachelors of Accounting at Elmhurst College. In addition, Ed is a CPA with a Profit and Value Certification for Closely Held Business. He serves the local business community as an Ambassador for the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, where he is a member of the group’s finance committee. Ed is the immediate Past Chair of the Executive Board of the United Way of Kane County.
