Brian Krans is a Manager at DHJJ with over 3 decades of experience helping businesses navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. He specializes in tax planning and preparation, working primarily with clients in retail, real estate, and construction. Brian is also highly proficient in QuickBooks and brings a practical, relationship-driven approach to each engagement.

His passion for accounting began early on through hands-on experience managing the books for his family’s business. Inspired by the close working relationship his family had with their CPA, he decided to pursue accounting professionally. Since then, he’s built a reputation for reliability, solid technical knowledge, and a client-first mindset.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and became a licensed CPA in 1999, having passed the CPA exam on his first attempt. A former firefighter, he once considered making that his full-time profession, but now he channels that same calm under pressure and sense of duty into every client relationship he builds.
