Mark Ruenz is a key member of DHJJ’s Outsourced CFO practice group, where he provides part-time and interim Chief Financial Officer services to clients.
With over 27 years of experience in accounting and finance across various industries including distribution, manufacturing, and healthcare, Mark is a seasoned leader skilled in global consolidations with multiple currencies and complex eliminations. His background includes overseeing several ERP implementations and integrating advanced reporting systems to enhance budgeting and forecasting processes. Mark excels in business case modeling, ROI analysis, and cash flow projection to secure optimal capital investments. He has a proven track record in managing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning, including workforce planning and project-based forecasting for resource optimization.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University of Ohio with a concentration in Accountancy and has passed the CPA exam. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Mark lives in Winfield with his wife and 3 children.
Mark grew up in the land of Fish Fries and Supper Clubs – Lake Geneva, WI – before heading off to college.
When he’s not supporting one of his kids’ activities, you can find him taking walks through the neighborhood, or trying to find his golf ball somewhere on the golf course.
