Jill Nelson is a Manager in our Accounting Services Practice Group and a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. She has a wealth of knowledge gained from over 15 years in the industry as a controller. Her background also includes experience in accounting and audit work at a regional accounting firm.
Jill helps clients create strategies to ensure accounting system processes and procedures and compliance. She assists clients with monthly and yearly reporting and analysis. As a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, she implements accounting and bookkeeping software to increase efficiency and minimize costly errors.
Growing up, Jill enjoyed working with numbers – having an accountant for a Mom and a math & science teacher for a Dad may have given her a nudge on her path to achieving her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Outside of Work:
Jill is a dissectologist, meaning she’s a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast. Did you know that the first jigsaw puzzles were called dissected maps? That’s where the term “dissectologist” comes from.
When she takes a vacation from helping her clients, you’ll find her on a relaxing beach vacation.
Jill lives in the Joliet area with her husband and her dog, Meatball!
