With over seven years of experience in the finance industry, Andrew Lopez is a seasoned professional specializing in business valuation. Currently serving as DHJJ’s Business Valuation Senior Manager, Andrew provides comprehensive valuations to clients across various sectors including automotive, construction, engineering, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation/logistics and wholesale.
Known for his attention to detail and strategic insights, Andrew has successfully advised numerous clients on a range of valuation engagements such as ESOP, litigation support, transaction pricing and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, 409A compliance, strategic planning, and bankruptcy/reorganization scenarios.
Andrew graduated from Northern Illinois University with Bachelor’s degrees in both Finance and Accounting, and has an MBA from the University of Illinois. His credentials include CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst,) CPA (Certified Public Accountant,) and ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation.) Andrew is a member of the AICPA and the CFA Society.
Outside of Work:
Andrew enjoys living an active lifestyle – strength training, golf, biking, and traveling are at the top of his list of healthy activities.
Andrew’s ideal vacation is enjoying the sun and the waves at the beach with his wife and daughter. Bonus points if they can bring their two golden doodles!
Although Andrew loves the beach, he really enjoyed his vacation trip to Porto, Portugal, with his wife. They appreciated the food, the wine, the architecture, and the wonderful people.
