Amber Larsen

Amber Larsen is a Tax Manager at DHJJ with over 20 years of experience in meeting tax needs for a wide array of clients. She offers comprehensive tax planning and preparation for high net worth individuals and trusts, as well as diverse business niches that include law firms, consulting firms, medical, dental, chiropractic, transportation, and service industries. Amber is also well versed in working with individuals on their international tax exposure.

In addition to her deep knowledge of tax matters, Amber delivers guidance on business operations, helping her clients think outside the box and look at their progress in new ways. She also provides QuickBooks support to explore and resolve reporting issues when they arise.

Amber is a Rainmaker Academy alumnus where she won recognition for her consistent business growth throughout the program. She holds a certificate in leadership training, mentoring and business development as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Masters of Taxation from DePaul University.

Volunteering is a way of life for Amber, who went on short-term mission trips over a period of five years with GO Ministries. On these trips, she traveled to the Dominican Republic doing mission work in sugar cane villages on the Haitian border, where the group built nutritional feeding centers for the malnourished children, built other buildings for the villagers, and held medical clinics. Today, Amber serves on the finance committee of the Avenue Christian Church. She and her husband have two young daughters.
