2018 Sales Tax Increase in Naperville

On March 6, 2018, Naperville, Illinois officials approved a .25% sales tax increase from .5% to .75% to go into effect on July 1, 2018. Shoppers will now pay a total of 7.75% on purchases.

Please update your computer systems to account for the change. Also, please be sure to inform your sales staff so they can adjust their quotes for the change in rates if materials are going to be purchased or delivered after July 1, 2018.
